Note: The following contains the actual conversation between an almost 3 year old and his mother on November 9, 2007.
Setting: A child has just committed an action that is not allowed in his home. The mother, trained in the corrective arts, administered swift justice to a very well padded part of the child's body. The child did not cry.
Instead, he quickly said: "Moms don't swat Supermans."
The Mom, thinking quicker, replied: "And who are you?"
Child: "I'm Levi."
Insert thoughtful pause.
Child: "Umm...no, no, no. I'm Superman!"
Who do you think he is?
