Over the river and through the woods...

To Dieter's aunt and uncle's we go...

Actually, we are there right now! I thought I would share some of our pictures from our visit so far...due to the fact that most of you who read this are ex-Northerners with faint memories of snow. Here, there is snow in abundance and this family is too happy to share!

We arrived just in time for lunch. Aunt N & Uncle C always manage to have something incredibly yummy prepared for us. It can't be easy cooking for our large brood but they do it and do it well.

While lunch was digesting, the kids played upstairs. Aunt N has used various sources to accumulate a large assortment of toys and games. In fact, there was so much to do up there that no one asked to go outside for several hours.

Eowyn played downstairs. She seemed to like her view of the world.

Finally, Dagny looked out the window and was reminded that there was snow on the ground. She rounded up the little boys and outside they went.

It's almost time for dinner here so I had best be off. Tomorrow morning, look for Levi instructing you all on how to eat snow. He's a champion snow-eater!
