We're back!

It's been a busy month up here in the Great Northeast. I started a new job & brought home the flu. We are all finally recovered and things have returned to normal...or as normal as they can be (it's all relative, right!?)

Besides combating her first major illness, Eowyn has hit some other milestones. Her first tooth arrived on Saturday, the 23rd, and she turned 10 months old Tuesday! To celebrate, she practiced her favorite activity - walking with Dagny.

Eowyn loves to walk around the house and will do this for what seems like hours. Her travels are always very purposeful as she is usually seeking Dieter or myself.

Isn't she just adorable?

Now, let's she if she can do it on her own. One hand free...
Letting go

Now, both! Apparently, Eowyn hasn't figured out yet that you walk with your hands at your side. She just stands still searching for her sister to help her. (This is a major improvement. When we first started letting her hands go, her legs would turn to jelly and panic would spread across her face. She's gotten over this & is now quite comfortable standing on her own.)
On her own!

Quick, Dagny! Give me your hands!

Wyatt took a break from making pancakes (note the flour on his shirt) to take a turn with his sister.

He tried the quick release approach.

It didn't last long.

Dagny, where are you? I want Dagny!
Where's Dagny?

Ahhh...safe at last. Wyatt, get those pancakes done. I'm hungry!
