We had a birthday yesterday...

Eowyn celebrated her birthday in style with a custom cake baked by her sister.


I think that this is the first time she's ever had cake. She figured out what to do with it very quickly.


Then she took a look a Levi's plate...


and realized that he had ice cream - something that, as the birthday girl, she was surely entitled to.


As any 3 year old will tell you, ice cream is not for sharing.


So I had to correct our little oversight and give this girl her share of the cold, creamy stuff.


She knew just what to do - no spoon needed.




At this point, Levi decided to jump in and help his little sister.


She didn't object.


Needless to say, the birthday girl ended her day in the bath. Here's to the next year and all of the growing up that she will do!
