Eowyn helps mow the lawn,
the older kids frolick about in some greenery,
and the trees are in full bloom.
We decided to celebrate the arrival of spring with some watermelon, a lovely warm weather treat.
It's messing eating...
but manages to put a smile on everyone's face. Even our injured cyclist enjoyed himself.
Of course, watermelon eating almost always leads to a seed-spitting fight in these parts...
unless you are three years old.
If you are, then you are very focused on getting your seeds out of your watermelon.
And will seek help from your mom to extract those pesky seeds.
She will fall prey to those woeful eyes and remove them for you despite the mess that will ensue. 'Cause that's what moms do...
